Year 2 Class Rings
We are very happy to announce that the Year 2 Class Rings for the Class of 2012 are ready to be ordered.
Go ahead….you know you deserve it!
The ring company will be here on Friday, December 2nd from 12-2pm to measure the students and take all orders.
The cost of these beautiful Sterling Silver rings complete with stone and your name engraved is only $60.00.
Boys will receive the Large ring and girls will have a choice of the Petite, Swirl or Heart ring. No names can be engraved in the Heart ring, only your initials.
All payments are due on this day, at this time.
Cash or Money Orders payable to Smooth Sportswear only.
Our rings will be delivered approximately 12 weeks later.

Please keep in mind that the cost of the Y2 trip is not included in the price of Year 2 dues. The cost of Year 2 dues this year is $300 payable in one to five installments (see payment plan page on reverse). ALL Y2 DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Year 2 Formal: This year’s Y2 Formal is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 16, 2012. The location of this year’s formal and the cost for guests is to be determined.
Year 2 Trip: There is an additional cost for the Y2 Trip. Students will vote on a trip location and trip dates this semester. Students will be expected to fundraise to support students who cannot afford to go on the trip.
Class of 2012 Legacy Gift: Our Y2 class gift fundraising goal is $1,500. The money raised will go towards a gift voted on by the class. Gifts from previous years have included furniture for classrooms and a SMART Board.

- Saturday, June 16, 2012: Year 2 Formal, 8PM-12AM
- Wednesday, June 20, 2012: Class of 2012 Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal, 10AM
- Thursday, June 21, 2012: High School Honors Convocation, 6PM
- Wednesday, June 27, 2012: Class of 2012 Commencement, 10 AM

2011-2012 Year 2 Dues Payment Plans
The cost of Year 2 dues this year is $300 payable in one to five installments. Payment plans are as follows:

- ALL Y2 DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
- Year 2 dues covers a variety of commencement and graduation-related costs including hall rental, flowers, invitations, music, cap, gown and tassel, Y2 Formal, yearbook and gift bag.
- The cost of the Year 2 trip is NOT included in the price of dues.
- Please make your first payment (for all plans) by Monday, November 21, 2011.
- Students seeking financial aid to defray the cost of Year 2 dues submit a financial aid form to Whitney Bates before Monday, November 21, 2011. Financial aid forms are available in room 406 or on the OSA blog under “Year 2.”
- ALL Payments must be made via cash or money order only (for student security, money orders are strongly encouraged).
- Please make money orders payable to “Bard High School Early College”
- NO personal checks will be accepted.
- Students are responsible for getting a receipt from Ms. Bates when they submit their payments.
- Student name must be clearly marked on all payments.
