Environmental Rally w/BSAN and ECO

Please Join the BHSEC Student Activist Network and the ECO Club at an Environmental Rally next Tuesday (the eve before Veterans Day)!

What: We will be rallying against hydraulic fracturing (a dangerous form of natural gas drilling) in New York State and sending the message to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation that the “Draft Supplement Generic Environmental Impact Statement” has not satisfactorily addressed the dangers of hydraulic fracturing.

When: Tuesday, November 10th, 2009
3:45 PM Meet in front of auditorium. We will take the train to Stuyvesant High School, the location of the event, in a group.
5 PM Rally & Press Conference
6:30 PM Department of Environmental Conservation Public Hearing

Never heard of hydraulic fracturing? You are especially welcomed to come along and find out about it!
